to strengthen my case I’d like to add that she not only had us read the book, but then made us watch the movie in class, and THEN also took us on a field trip to a full stage production that featured life-size marionette puppets of the dogs. like just how dedicated can you be to making 9-year-olds cry
This is my main blog, where I reblog everything I’m into, and where I reblog other people’s art. You’ll never see MY art on this blog.
I am creating a side blog where I post my own art. The blog’s name shall be Faine-draws.
does anyone else have those moments where they just fall in love with being alive? like, maybe you’re in art class with soft music and you realize that this peaceful feeling is a part of life that you love and you want to just keep forever, and there are so many other parts of life too that are so wonderful and maybe existing isnt so bad after all
are you a gold or silver person… are you a cherry or a watermelon person… are you an art hoe or a music hoe
I’ve been drawing mostly art requests for a few kids on Furry Amino.
It’s really sweet actually, the two kids who requested to have their fursonas drawn were related.
The sona on the left belongs to MAD. The sona on the right belongs to SUPERSUZY. They had another sibling that requested for one of their sonas to be drawn - but unfortunately it’s not in my photo collection as I cleared out my album for memory purposes on my phone.
Also it’s been a long time since I posted any of my art on here so I figured this would be good for now until I start drawing bigger things for my own enjoyment.
First off: Buddy, pal, amigo… I wanna dIE ! The spam. The terrible spam. ;w; What even is the internet…?
Second off: Now I HAVE to post my side of the coin. What are proportions? How do hand? What feet do??? My work is too thicc.
Doing a SuperMario™️ art style is hard. I got it wroooooong oh god. I could cry.
AHHHHHHH
Blessed Be.
Honestly the best piece of advice I can give to younger girls trying to figure life out is to completely ignore men. I’m not being quirky or cute when I say that, I mean it seriously. Ignore men’s judgments of you, ignore their insincere compliments, ignore their half-assed romance. Focus on developing yourself. Practice your art, play sports, do theater, volunteer, spend time with your friends, but do not put substantial effort into pleasing men. They’ll be there for you to pursue when the time comes and if you want to. But nothing will waste your youth more than fighting for male acceptance.
Build a man a fire, and he’ll be warm for a day. Set a man on fire, and he’ll be warm for the rest of his life.
holy fuck
I just did a quick perusal of the Coptic resources on this site, and it has all the resources I’ve personally found worthwhile and then some. These are resources that took me months, if not years, to discover and compile. I am thoroughly impressed. The other languages featured on the site are:
For the love of all the gods, if you ever wanted to learn any of these languages, use this site.
Might be useful for some of you.
The Menhir de Champ-Dolent is 9.5 meter tall standing stone made of pink granite. Its weight has been estimated around 100 metric tonnes based on its dimensions alone. Located in the French town of Dol-de-Bretagne in Brittany, France, it once prominently featured a cross in an attempt to Christianize it.
The stone is the source of many local legends. One story tells of two feuding brother. Their arguments had reached a point where they were near to killing each other, but the stone fell from the sky, and separated them before they lost themselves to their anger. This is supposed to account for the name of the field the stone is situated in: “Champ dolent” or “Field of Sorrow.” Another claims that the stone is slowly sinking in the earth, and when its crest finally disappears beneath the soil, the world will end.
Either way, if you’re wondering why I’ve only got one picture for this guy, it’s because he’s pretty much just a big rock surrounded by picnic tables, so all the pictures of it tend to look alike.
